I have been home about a week now after operation on 1st November. I was rather nervous about having surgery ouside of the UK but made contact with many of the past patients from the guest book, who were very helpful and reasured me that I was doing the right thing. The medical treatment was absolutely SUPERB: Dr J and his team are simply the best. He and his assistant are such very very nice men - approachable, considerate and very expert at what they do. much nicer than the usual consultants we meet in the UK! the nurses are so attentive and the clinic is very clean and first class all round. My husband and I were met at the airport by Sammy and Sarra who were very kind throughout. The only thing I would say is that the hotel, although very very good with superb food, did not meet my needs when I first came from the clinic on day 3. I was feeling a bit 'off' after the anesthetic and a bit sore around the operation site. I would have really appreciated loads of soft pillows, a bowl of fruit (instead of a proper meal) and some way of making a nice comforting warm drink. However, I asked for pillows the next day and they were there in an instant. The post op nursing care is excellent - all drugs, including daily injections for anti-thrombosis and precautionary antibiotics were provided and a nurse visited every day. I saw Dr J three or four times after my operation as routine and even had a wonderful massage at the clinic to help reduce post-operative swelling. All in all I would highly recommend cosmetica and the team to anyone. excellent value for money and a superb job. Now that the swelling is gone down I am amazed and very impressed with the results. Thank you to the team! - 1 suggestion: take a mini kettle and adaptor to make yourself a brew when you want one. Also your own coffee/tea and some milk etc cos the hotel is rather 'out of the way'.

A husbands opinion after accompanying my wife on her foreign cosmetic holiday. When my wife of 26 years announced that she was considering plastic surgery many thoughts shot through my mind. I always assured her that I was comfortable with how she looked. It was not all down to how she looked but it was 75% down to how she felt inside. Her confidence has soared since the operation. I accompanied her to Tunisia and was prepared to stop her going into the clinic if it I had any concerns about the set up. Well from the moment we were collected at the airport by Sammy and M,, everything was carried out in a professional and caring manner. When my wife was in the operating theatre the nurses brought me a meal and a drink. The doctor spoke to me and assured me all had gone well. My wife got a tummy tuck and liposuction and on the second day when I went into the clinic she was standing unsupported washing herself in the bathroom. The hotel is five star and included in the price for operation was a free massage something which I also got free. The hotel was spotless, the staff courteous, food plentiful, tasty and plenty to choose from. I spent a day on my own visiting the Roman ruins and my wife spent the day chatting with other ladies and gents who were also attending the clinic. None of them encountered any problems and all praised the doctors and nurses. After a week my wife and myself went to Carfour the local shopping centre and also ventured into the city of Tunis, On the down side. We had difficulty changing Scottish bank notes. Oh and be prepared to haggle with Taxi drivers. Your guide contact from the clinic will give you an idea what to pay for the various journeys. But insist before you get in the Taxi t hat they switch the meter ON. Finally be prepared for shopping trips when you arrive home . My wife has a new lease of life and has bought a new wardrobe of clothes since returning home.

I have been back now for a week after having breast implants in tunisia and am happy with the results so far. Me and my partner were picked up from the airport by Sammy and the GP Nejla. We were taken to our lovely hotel where we spent the night before i had my surgery. Hosiptal was clean, surgeon spoke excellent English and all the staff were friendly. Someone else commented and said if you are staying in the hospital do bring your own food and loads of magazines. You go back to the hospital a couple of times after to check everything is ok. The hotel was beautiful but could be quite boring sometimes so we wish we had brought some cards with us. They have a gym at the hotel so whoever goes with you and doesnt have surgery can go to the gym. They have a health suite which does massages etc which was nice too. overall well worth it as i feel the surgeons, hospital and care at the hotel were excellent. would recommend this to anyone thinking about having any kind of surgery. thanks

I was recommended Cosmetica Travel for breast enlargement by a friend who had surgery earlier in the year. After my experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone considering surgery. I decided to travel on my own and welcomed the break! I met many other people within the hotel and felt completely comfortable to be there on my own. The food was absolutely devine and the choice is massive. The clinic stinks of cleanliness as soon as you walk in the door and all of the staff were fantastic. My only words of advice are; take additional pain killers and check they can be taken with the medication you are given, had I not taken extra pain relief I feel I may not have been as comfortable throughout the remainder of my stay. Be prepared for a slight language barrier, English is the third language behind Arabic and French, this only caused an issue when talking over the phone however in person it is much easier. I have friends who have had similar surgery in the UK and they are gutted that they did not know of Cosmetica Travel, main reason being the money they would have saved but also the holiday you enjoy at the same time! I traveled to Tunisia on the 20th September and was greeted at the Airport by Sammy who was so reliable from the day i got there, i arrived in the evening and was taken straight to the Hotel which is very nice, but would advise if you are going alone to be prepared there is not a lot to do, i was picked up at 9 am on the 21st and was taken to the clinic for my Surgery. I meet Dr T and his assistant they are both very nice and caring people Dr T is an amazing person and very caring. the hospital is very nice but i did not like the food so would advise to take own and magazines. the next day i was then taken back to the hotel to relax and that i did. I am so happy with the results that i have, and if you have any doubts in your mind i would put them to rest. I am so glad that i have got it done. i want to say a big thanks to kamur who give me so much advise before i went out there and everyone else who did, if i can be of help to anyone please drop me a line. and hello to all the girls i meet while i was out there hope you are all doing really well.

I traveled to Tunisia in July 2006 with my husband to have my operation. I first heard of cosmetica on GMTV I am a nurse and work for Bupa and had always wanted to have a tummy tuck since after having my children but could never afford it in this country. Being a nurse I was aware of all the things to expect and also all the risk involved. I liased for over a year with M... who patiently answered all my questions. I had made up my mind that if I got to the clinic and had any reservasions I would not have it done. Once there all my fears vanished everyone was so nice and Dr D was a very caring man who takes pride in his work and wants to give his patients the best result. At the clinic my husband was allowed to stay as long as he wanted, after the operation I felt great, no after effects from the anesthetic I was a bit uncomfortable but was given adequate pain relief, everyone at the clinic was so nice. I am very happy with the results and my lovely flat stomach I cant wait until my next holiday to wear my bikini. All the after care was exellent and everything is arranged, on the third day after the op I went back to the 5star hotel and relaxed by the pool I ahd to wear a vest top and sarong to cover my lovely body stocking, but you do feel secvure in it. after a few days we went into Tunis to the medina for some shopping. I would recomend it to anyone and every one could not believe how well I looked, I am 2 sizes smaller and was able to go back to work as a nurse within 2 weeks. I am happy to answer any e-mails from any one who is considering having this done.

hi had my surgery on 24 july 06 cant believe its 3 weeks ago best thing ever done all the staff in clinic were great , dr Djamal what can i say wonderful and his assistant know their stuff. I had my surgery back in May and i think the results are great. When i arrived at Tunisia i was picked up by sammy and taken straight to the clinic as my op was booked for the next day. Everything went great, although i did have an alergic reaction to the anesthetic which made my eyes feel like they were burning out of thier sockets, but the nurses were very kind and brought me cold pads to put on them and lots of eye drops. The clinic was very clean and hygenic. I went on my own but would advise that you take someone with you, it must have been a quite time at the clinic as there wasn't very many people at the hotel, although i did meet someone from the same town as me when i came out of theatre. If you have any doubts about going to Tunisia for surgery, forget them now. I have wanted breast implants for years and thought i would never be able to afford them until i came across this site. Forget your fears and take the plunge, it was worth it.

From the moment I arrived I can truly say this became a 5***** experience!! The whole team from Houssem, M..., Sammi, through to Dr Djamal and the nurses at the hospital are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for any of them, they really do care about your welfare every step of the way. I truly believe had I had this done in the UK I would not have received the standard of treatment & aftercare I received with cosmetica, not to mention the money I saved!!! I underwent my operation on 29th May, it is now 30 days since I had my op, I am completely healed, I look fabulous, & feel fantastic!! Since I have been home everyone has commented how real my boobs look and cannot believe how well I am. If you have any fears about this company its professionalism or authenticity please don’t you will not be disappointed. I cannot thank you all at cosmetica enough for making this a truly unforgettable experience.
